We have a community tree planting event coming up in two weeks. It will be on October 05, 2025, Saturday. I wanted to highlight the important work that GROW does. We plant acacia trees because they are known to fix the soil in our badlands. Another important role they play is that they hold down the erosion. The erosion empties out into Talofofo Bay. The erosion smoothers the coral reef and causes the reef to die. I have attached our event flyer and the map to the site. Please reach out to me if you have any questions!

The 5th Tower for Humanity benefit project is set to take place in the Center Court of the Agana Shopping Center on 1 October 2024. This project is a partnership with the nonprofit, Be Heartfelt, to hold an island-wide food drive through September, and the second annual Canstruction Guam Competition. Tower Construction: Oct. 1-9 Canstruction Competition: Oct. 11-13 The Aydlett Brothers will build a scaled replica of Taiwan’s Taipei 101 skyscraper using nearly 100,000 individual toy timber logs to commemorate Taiwan Double Ten with the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office. The Canstruction Guam Competition will conclude a month-long island-wide canned food drive. Organizations are encouraged to sign up as a canned food drop site and/or run their own food drive campaign through September and early October then form teams to build their own creation with those canned goods at the Agana Shopping Center. Prizes will be awarded for teams with the best design/most creative, most public votes via social media, and the most canned goods collected.
