The Guam Bar Association, in partnership with Heidi Ballendorf, daughter of Dr. Dirk
Ballendorf, is celebrating the launch of the second edition of The Secret Guam Study by
Howard P. Willens & Dirk Ballendorf.
This Two-Part event starts with a free presentation on the Freedom of Information Act
aka the “Guam Sunshine Reform Act”, where participants may learn how to obtain
compliance in the disclosure of public documents, and what to do when the
Government does not respond. Part One will be presented by Guam Bar President,
Jacqueline Taitano Terlaje, with Special Guest, University of Guam professor Ronald
B. Aguon. This presentation is open to the public, with limited seating available.
Part Two, is a special evening affair for the 2nd Edition book launch. Tickets to attend
the second part of this event are $100 and includes food, drinks, and a copy of the 2nd
edition book.
This event will be held on April 22, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Capitol Kitchen.
